Two Letters of Reference: The letters of reference may be faxed (403-210-9191) or emailed (scanned copy with original signature to relsgrad@ucalgary.ca) directly from the referee - an original hard copy is not required. Or you may collect the letters and mail them with your application. If you collect them, they must be in sealed envelopes with the referee's signature across the seal. In addition to the application requirements established by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, students are required to send a sample of written work (e.g. a recent research essay), as well as the Academic Background form. Also attach a one-page statement of research or study proposal. Email these documents to relsgrad@ucalgary.ca
The application (including all transcripts, letters of reference, TOEFL, resesarch proposal page, etc) is due January 9 for September admission.

If you want to apply for scholarships, please see the Graduate Award Competition. Two of your references for admission may also be used for scholarship. Scholarship Applications are due on February 1st.
